How to Play

Goal

Merge tiles to create the 2048 tile. After winning, keep playing for a higher score.

Controls

Arrow Keys or W A S D Move tiles

Swipe Move tiles (mobile)

X Toggle swap mode

B Toggle remove mode

Rules

Slide tiles in any direction.
Matching tiles merge into one with double the value.
A new tile (2 or 4) spawns after every move.
Score increases by the merged tile's value.

Power-Ups (2 uses each per game)

Undo

Revert your last move.

S

Swap

Exchange any two tiles. Tap first, then second.

R

Remove

Destroy any tile from the board.

Game Over

The game ends when the board is full and no merges are possible.

Tips

Build your highest tile in a corner.
Save power-ups for tight situations.
Work in one primary direction.
